What Happens Next

Three steps between now and your session.

Your session time is reserved. Here's exactly what happens between now and when you join the Zoom — so nothing falls through the cracks and your hour with Attorney Stokes is spent on strategy, not setup.

The more prepared you are walking in, the more valuable the session becomes. Review the services below, complete your intake form, and come with your most pressing questions ready.

01

05

Receive your written summary within 24 hours

After your session, you'll receive a personalized email summarizing your key takeaways, your prioritized action plan, and your recommended next steps. Something to reference as you move forward.

Before You Join

The most important thing you can do before this session.

Most founders arrive at a strategy session with one question running in the background: Can I afford what she's going to recommend? It's a reasonable question. But it's also the wrong one — and it limits what you're able to receive in the next hour.

The better question to bring into this session is: What is it costing me not to have this handled?

"Every day a trademark goes unregistered is a day someone else can legally file on your brand. Every month a business operates without the right structure is a month of personal liability. Every year without an estate plan is a year your family has no legal protection. The cost of inaction is not zero — it's compounding."

This session is not a sales call. Attorney Stokes will tell you exactly what you need — and what you don't. If the honest answer is that you're not ready for a particular service yet, she'll tell you that too. What she will always give you is the truth about where you stand and what your options are.

Come to this session with openness. Come with your real numbers, your real situation, and your real concerns. The more honest you are about where you are, the more useful this hour becomes.

You've already made the first move by booking. That matters. The founders who protect what they're building are the ones who showed up when it mattered — before something went wrong, before someone filed first, before it was too late to plan. You're here. That's the right instinct.

Come Prepared

What to bring to your session.

You don't need to have everything figured out. You just need to show up with the right raw material — Attorney Stokes will do the rest.

Have these ready

  • Your business name and any brand names you use or plan to use
  • Your current business structure — LLC, corporation, or none yet
  • Any contracts, agreements, or documents you have questions about
  • A rough sense of your annual revenue — even a range is fine
  • Names and relationships of any business partners
  • Any legal issues, threats, or disputes currently on your radar
  • Your estate planning status — do you have a will or trust in place?

Bring these questions

  • What's the most urgent legal gap in my business right now?
  • Am I personally liable for anything I don't know about?
  • Is my business structure right for where I'm going — not just where I am?
  • What would happen to my business if something happened to me tomorrow?
  • What do I need to do first — and what can wait?
  • What does a full legal foundation actually look like for a business like mine?

Before Your Session

Common questions answered.

What if I can't afford the services after the session?

Attorney Stokes will give you an honest assessment of what you need and your options at every price point. If a full engagement isn't where you are right now, she'll tell you what to prioritize first and what can wait. You'll never leave with a plan you can't execute.

What if I don't know which service I need?

That's exactly what the session is for. You don't need to know what you need before you arrive — Attorney Stokes will diagnose your situation and tell you specifically what applies to you and why. Come with your situation, not a predetermined answer.

Will I be pressured to buy something?

No. Attorney Stokes will tell you what you need — and what you don't. If the honest answer is that a particular service isn't necessary for your stage or situation, she'll say so. The session is a diagnostic, not a sales call. The relationship matters more than any single transaction.

What happens to my $500 if I retain the firm?

If you retain Stokes Law Group for any service within 14 days of your strategy session, the full $500 session fee is credited directly toward your engagement. It doesn't disappear — it becomes the first payment toward your legal foundation.

Can I reschedule if something comes up?

Yes — please reschedule through the link in your confirmation email as soon as you know you need to. We ask for at least 24 hours notice out of respect for Attorney Stokes' time and the clients waiting for available sessions.
