Managing Partner
Shaunette is a practicing attorney licensed in the state of Florida. She is the Managing Partner of Stokes Law Group, PLLC, founded in 2014. Shaunette graduated from Florida A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She continued to further her education and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida A&M with a Master’s degree in Public Administration. After obtaining her master’s, she pursued her Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina.
Attorney Stokes specializes in the legal and business aspects of estate planning and wealth management. She has substantial experience in Intellectual Property, Estate Planning, Probate, and Personal Injury. Attorney Stokes currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Paralegal Studies program at Hillsborough Community College where she teaches a range of courses such as Copyright and Music law to Contract Law.
Attorney Stokes believes that her education cannot end when she leaves the classroom; she believes that her goal in life is to help others in any way she can. This includes speaking to various groups about the complexities of the law in their communities which has helped her become an expert in her field. Shaunette is not just an attorney – she’s also an experienced entrepreneur.
With her experience as both an attorney and entrepreneur, she understands the challenges of both worlds – which means she can provide you with insightful advice on how to grow your business or protect it from litigation.
